In the heart of the old village of Chaucre, on the island of Oléron, this group of buildings – a former wine storehouse and small dwelling – has been restored and converted into a welcoming holiday home, opening onto several small gardens, true islands of freshness and tranquillity.
To adapt to the island's changing climate, the plant palette combines exotic plants and local species, creating a tropical atmosphere within a setting of traditional low-rise Oléron houses, whose characteristic architecture has been carefully preserved and enhanced.
